How To Pay  Your Tax Online?

You can pay using your bank's website or app for internet banking. When you make direct credit payments, we recommend using the pay tax function provided by most New Zealand banks. (There is no fee for this service.)

You can make payments to us by internet banking, debit or credit card, in myIR or from overseas.

Remember to include your IRD number as a reference.

  1. Sign into ANZ Internet Banking.

  2. Click on Pay & transfer and then click Pay tax.

  3. Select the account you wish to pay from.

  4. Select INC for the tax type.

  5. Enter your IRD number.

  6. Enter the amount of tax you need to pay.

  7. You can make this an immediate payment.

  8. You can enter the financial year along with the keyword taxes for the details to appear on your statement.

  9. Click Continue.

  10. Confirm the details and click Confirm & pay
