How To Pay  Your Tax Online?

You can pay using your bank's website or app for internet banking. When you make direct credit payments, we recommend using the pay tax function provided by most New Zealand banks. (There is no fee for this service.)

You can make payments to us by internet banking, debit or credit card, in myIR or from overseas.

Remember to include your IRD number as a reference.

  1. select ‘Pay & Transfer’ then ‘Pay Tax'

  2. enter the IRD Number

  3. select the Tax Type and Tax Period End Date

  4. choose the account to pay from and enter the Amount and Payment Date
