Howard Dalzell

Originally from England I have lived in New Zealand for over 40 years. I have a diverse background with science and accounting degrees and have over 30 years experience as a chartered accountant. My early experience with what is now PriceWaterhouseCoopers led to my interest in taxation, valuations and helping small to medium enterprises manage their business.
Outside work I enjoy time with my children, follow Manchester United and the All Blacks, paint historical miniatures and have an interest in history, science and computing.

Practice Manager
I arrived in New Zealand in 2001 from Romania and joined Sawden Tax & Accounting in July 2003 to take up a senior accountant's position. I am of Hungarian descent and have extensive accounting experience, specialising in management accounts and taxation, having been a sole practitioner in my home town of Cluj-Napoca.
I enjoy travelling around New Zealand and have a passionate interest in the IT field, good food and fine wine.

I have been working in the accounting industry for 25 years and have been at Sawden Tax & Accounting since 1994. My responsibilities are office administration and reception.
I am a first time nana to Kahikatea (Kahi), my energetic and gorgeously cute two and a half year old grandson and I take every opportunity to spend time with him.
I walk regularly and do yoga for my body and soul and challenge my mind with Sudoku crosswords.

I am the founding partner of Nicoll Jackson a medium chartered accounting firm and now senior consultant to Sawden since 2008. I have over 40 years in Public Practice and I am able to provide clients with a vast knowledge of business and taxation solutions to assist them with their business needs. I have a keen interest in helping medium sized enterprises develop their potential.
Outside of the office I am interested in the Arts and travel. I enjoy playing the card game, bridge, and I am a member of the Auckland theatre company.

I am originally from Fiji and joined Sawden Tax & Accounting in June 2023. I am fluent in English and Hindi. With more than two decade's working in accounting and taxation, I enjoy working with clients and helping them understand their accounting and tax responsibilities, and seeking solutions to their businesses.
Outside work I enjoy spending time with family, playing football, coaching rugby and basketball & watching movies.
Jounghue Lee
Accountant
I arrived from South Korea in 2010 and joined Sawden Tax & Accounting in September 2016 as an accountant. I am fluent in Korean and English and enjoy working with Korean clients to help them understand their accounting and tax responsibilities in New Zealand. I have extensive experience in web design, Photoshop and marketing.
Outside work I enjoy spending time with family, computer gaming, meeting friends and learning about the New Zealand way of life.
I joined Sawden Tax & Accounting in September 2009 as part time office administrator while I continue my University studies. My interests include sports, music and spending time with friends and family.
